Some libraries have a program where you can check out digital copies of the book by downloading them on your ipod or other such device.Jo Mhttp://bookreadingbookworm.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2193939705192575193.post-27438818550425107542010-07-23T14:19:06.452-04:002010-07-23T14:19:06.452-04:00Thanks for the comments, all. Wow I NEVER thought about what a bad idea it would be to listen to a sad part while driving. I realized the other day - while listening to a song in the car that reminded me of Ardsmuir - that I can make myself cry in about 2 seconds when thinking of JF in jail. :( Too bad I'm not an actor; I could have used that to cry on the spot!!Purgatory Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04206226666250028550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2193939705192575193.post-32476993022742849842010-07-23T09:31:28.656-04:002010-07-23T09:31:28.656-04:00Yikes Karen!! In fact, yesterday I told a coworker I'd drive her home--and then later realized that I wouldn't get my 15-minute Davina "fix," and just about cried!! LOL.

I've also discovered that the audiobook is GREAT for walking/running. Normally I do a three-mile walk, and it feels like about 5 minutes long listening to this thing. I'm beginning to think a marathon is within reach...Tracey R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06775331935448970772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2193939705192575193.post-46571670842081033882010-07-23T09:23:18.824-04:002010-07-23T09:23:18.824-04:00Tracey (and anyone else listening to the audiobook...Tracey (and anyone else listening to the audiobooks):

Word of warning: DO NOT listen to the more emotionally intense parts of the books while driving! I learned this the hard way. Driving home from work one evening, listening to the scene in OUTLANDER where Jamie is being given last rites, I suddenly found myself half-blinded by tears, still driving down the road, about a mile from my house. I got home without incident, but it was a pretty scary experience.

Since that happened, I make a point of NOT, EVER, listening to the more emotional scenes while driving. I wouldn't dare, for example, listen to the farewell scenes in DRAGONFLY while driving.

KarenKaren Henryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07635855088490793965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2193939705192575193.post-86674933710928304412010-07-22T16:41:03.031-04:002010-07-22T16:41:03.031-04:00Oh, I feel the same way all the other commenters d...Oh, I feel the same way all the other commenters do! Murtagh really kicks butt in his quiet weasel faced way. Even more now that we know he thinks Claire is a faerie.
