Jamie Fraser. Bringin' Sexy Back since 1741.

SPOILER ALERT: Don't read unless you've blissfully floated to page 748 in VOYAGER.
Dear Diana Gabaldon,
Thank you. Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou. For it is a most kind-hearted woman who will not only make Jamie Fraser nail us (I mean, Claire) - from behind - up against the berth on a stormy sea... but will also permit us (I mean, Claire) to wake up in a fresh bed in the Caribbean with a freshly bathed and nekkid James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser who is sportin' wood and reciting the Our Father in Latin.

Your most humble servant in Scottish awesomeness,
Carol

  1. Both verraverra good scenes, lassie. But I still must insist that they are no quite as hot as the one b'fore it. The only thing hawter than having Jamie go at it is having Jamie TELL YOU, in great detail, how he is going to go about going at it. Mother of all that is holy....

So, you want a hint about the next, um, trick from DG's bag that will come into play in the love life of J/C? Here's a hint...

  2. Are you nuts???? I don't want to know! You KNOW I don't want to know! But does that mean you got to a hot section in Drums finally??

  3. PS - Agree to disagree. Of the three, I liked the berth scene the best. That was just steaming hot - and yet hilarious - all at the same time. I like Jamie best when he's at his beastiest. Grrrrrr baby....Grrrrr!

  4. The clue I'm referring to is actually from the first maybe 70 pages of Drums. LOL it's something you can probably figure out on your own if you think about where DG has not yet gone in terms of the physical act-heeheehee.

Overall, you need to get used to the fact that the lovin' has cooled ever so slightly in Drums. I'm not saying it's utterly chaste--there are definitely a few scenes worth revisiting--but overall, not as hot as the other books.

  5. Holy god. HOLY GOD. Now I've got to start reading Drums... don't I? And how can you possibly say it doesn't get juicy in the first 300 pages if that's on page 70? I'm tempted to LOOK! PS - I didn't even watch the clip. Just saw that it was Seinfeld... and I knew. And another PS - SPOILER! That is a spoiler. Watch yourself, Sassenach. You're on probation. ;)

Being a reader who LOVES spoiler (ever heard of that? hehe) I've been looking forwards to this chapter in Voyager since reading this weeks ago. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT - and yes THANK YOU THANK YOU DG for this chapter ;-) So thanks again, and see you in the next chapter (and on twitter) :-D
