"A Tribute to All the Brave Souls Who Fought and Died Defending Scotland"

One of the greatest things I have seen on the internet in a long, long time. Many thanks to Lolly S. for commenting about the music of Albanach on the last post. They're tremendous!! And thanks to HeatherMac320 on Youtube. Awe-inspiring video. Hear Hear. Check out her youtube page. Girlfriend loves herself some Scotland!

  1. Very cool video! Thought you'd like to know that Albannach is Gàidhlig for "Scottish" or "Scotsman" - the antithesis of Sassenach!

  2. That was very cool, as Lolly said! Make me think of how intense and scary Roger's bodran must have sounded when they went to rescue Claire in ABOSAA.

  3. Hi Carol...Happy Birthday! I love Albannach's music. I also love the Red Hot Chili Pipers...do you know of them? We "discovered" their music when we bought a CD in a T-shirt store on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh last year on vacation.

  5. Love it Lolly! And that video is so awesome I don't know what tae do with myself! Shannon got Jenn M and I "Sassenach" stickers for our cars last year and it's funny because we are all transplants to the Jersey Shore. And even though we've lived here for years and years, we'll always be "bennies" to the locals...but we've decided we're Sassenachs. ;)

Sara - I THOUGHT THE SAME THING! CHILLS! CHILLS! Couldn't you just hear the drums and see the realization on Claire's face?! What a moment! :)

Cynthia - Thank you. :) These guys are great - and yes, Shannon is a big fan of the Red Hot Chili Pipers! I love their name!

Carla - Right back atcha! :)

  7. You go, Terri! I still have to get through my 2nd read (1st listen, actually) before I can re-start Voyager. I've been sneaking peeks - but it's time to bite the bullet! LOL
