NEW DROUGHTLANDER Methadone!

Ummm...how have I never heard of THIS???

(Something tells me a few of you are going to say, "Carol! We TOLD you about this! It's in the comments!" And to that, all I can say is, "I'm sorry! I suck! Because...ADHD!!" LOL (Tonya...is this the one you suggested last year?!?)

I have just finished yet another read of The Bronze Horseman series and am in DESPERATE NEED of new Outlander methadone...so this book AND TV series may just do the trick.

I'll keep you posted!!

    1. I can't wait until it's finally made into a film or series...and I dread it being made into a film or series. ❤️

    1. I am reading the book first. Haven't gotten far enough into it to be hooked yet (things, life, whatnot) but I have a feeling I'll be in purgatory verra soon. ☺️

Just read The Bronze Horseman Trilogy. Excellent read for Droughtlander. Tatiana and Alexander, wonderful love story.

Also saw Kurt and Shura on Netflix, excellent.

  4. I have seen so many comments praising this TV series. I haven't be able to find it. Can anyone tell me if it is available to purchase, download, subscribe, etc. I think I read that it is a Netflix series. If so, does Netflix run it in a way I can start from the beginning?

    1. I have been reading the book and am less than enthralled. Not sure what to think. I am guessing it might not have been an easy transition to English. It just seems kindof fluffy...and, again, I think it may be due to translation difficulties. Looking forward to watching the series (Yes! On Netflix by episode!!) :)

  6. OMG...watched this on Netflix from beginning to end! It made me a little crazy with the dang PEOPLE getting in the way of those two lovebirds. Almost threw up my hands a few times...and I can sing the background music in my sleep, for heaven's sake. LOL. But it was a distraction from my Droughtlander, for sure!

  7. Hi Carol, Where to start! I check your MOP site from time to time because I love you two, your videos and I love Outlander. So, I, along with many others am always looking for a next great read, and The Bronze Horseman series absolutely blew me away! I was completely hooked in the first several pages and never looked back until I just finished The Summer Garden last week. The depression hit! I kept telling myself, "I'll just read it again!!" I haven't done this, yet, but I did move on to Kurt Seyt and Sura. This book and TV series had me at first, but upon finishing this maddening love story, (the book), I have decided that I'm not going to continue watching the series. It has it's great moments, such as the actor that plays Kurt Sety is amazing and so easy on the eyes, but the story is such a roller coaster I just can't keep on, and there are 46 episodes! So, to wrap this up, in the words of my 18 year old, "Mom, you need to clear your head, go read Outlander, again!" After TBH and Sety and Sura, I'm taking her up on it!

  8. The Bronze Horseman series was wonderful, although it has been a few years now since reading. My current droughtlander read is The Last Kingdom (Saxon Series) by Bernard Cornwelll. ❤
