  4. Hi Ladies,

I'm only half way through the first video and can't stop laughing!!!! You guys are so ballsey posting this stuff on the internet! LOL. What's funnier is that you did the videos at your sister's party. My family would TOTALLY MAKE FUN OF ME! How did you live down singing "Happy Birthday Jamie" with everyone around?!!! You guys are awesome! Sally

  5. Oh, keep watching, Sally. The real question is how did we get so many people to say happy birthday to Jamie??? LOL.

One reason we did them where we did was that it's about as far as you can get from where the house and other partygoers were--but still, everyone managed to get themselves up to where we were!

  8. Thanks Sally and Erin. We were wayyyy far away from most of the festivities so we could have some time to ourselves. Of course this is an impossibility as my kids pretty much follow me everywhere. LOL But they made for good video in some spots "Happy Birthday, Jamie!" so it was OK.

Jenn D - we miss you, too!!! We should have put your mom in the videos!! :)

  12. HAHA you won't be the only one Carol...I say it all the time and them people look at me like I'm nuts. So I say "WHAT! It's a foreign language that's almost extinct...you should brush up on your Gaelic." :P

  13. Thanks for the welcome, ladies. It's nice to be among those who understand Jamie. :) Tracey, you should have left the shortbread crumbs part in! Would have been very reminiscent of the "sperm talk" from The Fiery Cross - with the toast and everything. ;)

  14. hi carol and tracey,
    love, love ,love the videos.
whisky is my tipple when i drink, but celebrated with you with sparkling mineral water as i don,t drink while pregnant :-). shortbread is fab and you,re right easy to eat a full packet.
what can i say about the garden scene , i couldn,t wait for you to reach that part i knew you,d love it. it makes you wonder whether dg takes these sex scenes from real life experience or just has a fab imagination, (one for karen to dare ask there maybe ;-) )

  15. Angela - I still haven't friended my dad on Facebook! I'm afraid!!

Roberta - you just touched on something I keep forgetting to mention. I TOTALLY want to learn Gaelic!

Lindy - Oh how Tracey LOVEDDD the sperm talk!!

Lesley - "tipple". I. Love. That! I plan on using it 5 times in a sentence this week. Definitely the word of the week! And good question on the garden scene. I've often wondered if Diana gets these ideas from her own life experience too! If so; I'm JEALOUS! ;)

  17. I've loved D.G.'s books (for 21yrs)& you ladies have made me laugh over the same scenes that I've loved & laughed out loud, over & over. The difficulty of waiting 3 yrs for each book is a trial of life. Thanks for filling the fun years for this 72 yr old Great-Grandma.

    1. That is AWESOME, Great-Grandma! We have a ball making the videos and I'm thrilled that you have fun with us; that's why we make them. It's like hanging out with our Outlander buds, having a cup of coffee (or a wee dram) and dishing about our favorites characters. :) Only 72 and a GREAT grandma! That is fantastic. Enjoy every second with those precious grandbabies. :)
