Happy Birthday Jamie...Video!

I am posting this against my better judgment.  It is - by far - the most ridiculous and sad little video we've ever made.  We spent much of it with a bad connection, delayed audio and subsequent talking over each other...but it was made with good intentions, right??  The last five minutes are the best in my opinion...and there mayyyyy be an appearance by a famous Facebook fellow.  Gotta watch to find out. ;)

  1. Not to worry, ladies! I for one can't wait for a spare, quiet 35+ minutes to spend watching (and enjoying!) your musings. MarthaB

  2. Speak for yourself lassie!! _I_ think we are fabulous. And there are SEVERAL guest stars in this video besides the main attraction at the end--namely, the ever-patient DHs!!

  4. Oh, no MarthaB-my comment was directed toward Carol, not you! :-) YOUR comments are most appreciated!

  5. Och, you ladies crack me up! If only I could get my sister to read the books, we'd have such a good time ;-)

I'm so in for a Jersey Shore gathering. My mom lives in West Wildwood, so I vote for South Jersey, lol.

My husband is a big-time Pippa fan. He's now taken to calling me Pippa with a British accent.

  6. Once again, you've challenged my thought process. I had attributed the teen obsession with 80s music in my town to isolation, a general lack of exposure to the greater world, but apparently its part of a larger phenomenon and I shouldn't be so judgemental.

  7. Thanks Fletchers! Erin, I mean Pippa, that's not a half bad idea. SO funny - I was on the boardwalk in Manasquan the other day and these young girls were like "Atlantic City and Ocean City are not 'the shore'..." and I was CRACKING UP! I didn't even know the central NJ shore existed when I was a kid! South Jersey represent!

Adventures - my car is in the shop and I have a rental this week that has no Sirius radio...and I'm forced to listen to regular radio and I don't know any of the music because all I listen to is the 80s station on Sirius or their 1st Wave alternative (mostly) 80s station. LOL!

I have also been captivated by the books and want to be friends with others who understand our passion for everything Jamie and Clair! I enjoyed your fun Thanks ...
