Carol Blogs. Tracey Tweets. James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser means to take his time about it, aye?
Always enjoy your chats. I am going in with no expectations so that I can be wow"d. Having said that, my fingers are crossed that they will cast appropriately. I would love a no name for Jamie and Claire. Good luck with your quest to get your photo with Doug. *giggles* As one of the lucky ones who has had their photo taken with Doug, I still feel giddy about that. *G*
Oooh Michelle! You and Hildy! She had her pic taken with m'best friend Doug too! And someone thought she was DG! LOL! PS - Agree with you 1,000 percent. No expectations... but as I mentioned, I'll fangirl a few times in the coming months, I'm sure. ;)
LOL. The only reason that I had the balls to ask him for a photo was because I really wanted to impress you and Tracey! I'm not kidding. Michelle, were you in the other photo that DG posted, that made her eyes roll to the back of her head because people thought it was her?
Hildy, I thought that was YOU who people thought was DG??
There were a couple people who thought that about ME but there were even more who thought DG was the woman in the other photo! She rolled her eyes at the comments for my photo as well. LOL
Hello! I've been binge-reading your blog lately. I read Outlander for the first time a few months ago, and am now finished with ABOSA. I wanted to wait on ECHO because I hear it's cliffy (but I've already read all the spoilers ... so I have no clue why I'm waiting :) In an older post I just read, you guys mentioned you had a theory about Jamie's ghost in Outlander and how that all works out in the end. Can you direct me to the video (or blog entry?) where you discuss? I would LOVE to hear your theory! Thanks for keeping such a great blog, btw. It's nice to find some kindred spirits who understand my absolute admiration of one, James Hottie McScotty Fasier. (Seriously, a friend called last week and made the mistake of asking what was up. I was like, "I'm reading about the Battle of Culloden. OMG." And he was like, "I don't know what that is," and I said, "Dinna fash yourself! I'll tell you all about it, aye?") Hopefully, the Outlander-obsession phase passes soon and I can make normal conversation again ... ;)
Yikes Natalie...I'm terrified of giving ye spoilers, lass! (Has anyone noticed I just broke out into my best Pocket Jamie? LOL) I just did a search (top left corner) but it brought up a bunch of Echo stuff! I will ask Tracey about the videos to see if she remembers what video we discussed it in. (Eeek - ending a sentence in a preposition; I just gave m'self the willies.) :) I am soooo impressed that you can wait. I dove in so fast after finishing each one. BUT - I would actually do the same if I were you, since we have a little while to wait until MOBY comes out...and the cliff hangers are soooo plentiful in Echo!!
Okay, I feel like an idiot. I didn't even see the search bar :) No worries about spoilers! I read the end of books before I even start them which is bananas, I know. I can't help it. I dinna like surprises. I've read a pretty detailed chapter index for Echo so I know the gist of what goes down. And I know Echo isn't the last book so ... sigh. I guess I'm hoping Herself will go Notebook and let J&C die in each other's arms, even though I think that's probably too happy an ending. (Well ... happy in a morbid way, I guess.) I can't reconcile ghosts still flouncing about with happy endings. (And on that topic - when Loughaire says she saw Claire's "ghost" between them in bed, was she talking about Claire's fetch, like Jenny mentioned, or do you think she saw a bonafide ghost? Is Claire's ghost wandering around too?) This book series is breaking my brain, but I love it. I'm excited to read your theory! I'll dig around on here too and see if I can find it :)
Something tells me we talked about the theory in a video with Jenn M. and Shannon, so look for the ones that have four people in the window. (There are likely some margaritas in there too, but that doesn't necessarily narrow things down... ;-) )
