  1. Having visited Culloden last September, I am shocked and saddened that this development has been approved. I'm praying (yes, praying) for the souls buried there and that this decision is reversed. It IS a sacred place, truly, and a truly sacred place.

  2. I'm an American but I can't help but feel that this is an unspeakable desecration of an historical site that should not be disturbed by anyone for profit or otherwise. It is the most insane, creepy thing to desire to live on top of the bodies in that soil. Scotland must preserve its treasures and the memory of it's fallen soldiers. It's not just any old battlefield. These people were massacred once already. Do these developers and the government intend to do it again? Shame on those who are so ignorant.

  5. How unbelieveable! May the ghosts of those who lost their lives on that terrible day rise up and haunt any who rape this historical ground. Who could possibly have good conscience to live in any of the homes to be built on the battle field?

  7. I'm so glad it was unapproved again. I can't believe it! I was there two years ago and felt so much emotion. What are they thinking? Thank you for following this!
