    1. Hmmm....maybe you should do a video demonstrating what two "bites" of haggis really looks like.... (GAUNTLET THROWN!!) ;-)

    2. Okay... I have NOT tried haggis but I have eaten my share odd and different foods. Maybe we can discuss that next Monday. We are still planning on going to Scotland in the not too distant future or we will get some the next time we are at Jungle Jim's in Cincinnati. And I will... This could be like Fear Factor - MOP Edition!

    3. The funny thing is that I'm NOT normally an eater of far-out foods--there is a laundry list a mile long of foods I don't like (including hamburgers, seafood, and--ironically--sausage/processed meat). However, for JAMMF, I am a little more ready to step up to the gastronomic plate.

And Fear Factor: MOP Edition???? BRILLS!!!!!!!

    4. I just lost it - in my car in the school parking lot - at "Fear Factor - MOP Edition". Absolutely hilarious, Clay. Bravo!

  2. Ya, you're braver than I. I've never even tried haggis and I never intend to!

  3. She looks a little like Tom Hanks eating the caviar in the movie Big.

  4. You need to try it with some Drambuie sauce...it is delicious.
I like the canned Stewarts brand as well as MacKeans Haggis. Great with a poached egg as well. I know an acquired taste. Good for you for trying!

  5. Trust me. A throwback of chardy was waaaaaaaaaay needed. I could taste that shizz all evening. I swear, cat food would be an acceptable substitute....

  6. Is it normally served as an hors d'oeuvre? It looks like you've got some on a piece of bread or cracker - I thought it was just sliced and put on a plate. But, actually, I've never had it and probably have no idea what I'm talking about!

  7. I've attended several Burns dinners...where they pipe in the haggis and everyone in the room pretends it's fit for human consumption :) But I see where you made your mistake...haggis absolutely requires a single malt chaser. Wine just isn't enough.

  8. I love the little face you make on the 2nd bite! hehe You pretty much confirmed for me that I would never be brave enough to try it. Ick.
