Black Jack Randall: A Case Study in Cray Cray

WOW!  This graphic sure has spurred some discussion on Facebook in the last 24 hours!  I made it because I have sick respect for Tobias Menzies...and I know it's going to be deliciously conflicting watching him play both Frank and Black Jack Randall.  Clearly this is a topic near and dear to our hearts.  And might I say that is completely refreshing to see people vehemently debating Outlander topics...and not just drooling over actors who will be playing the characters we have all come to know and love (and fiercely protect!!)

(Pretty mature coming from the girl who started "Tobias Tuesday", no?)  ;)

  1. I got the most awesome news!!! Outlander was advertised last night on Foxtel, the pay tv provider here in Australia :)

  2. I am definitely warming up to Frank a LOT (in contrast to my pre-Tobias casting coolness toward Frank), but BJR can still go suck a tailpipe and choke on it.

  3. I have always admired Frank. Think about all that he did. Now BJR requires some thought. Are his actions that of a mad man or a man desperate for power. He wants what Jamie has naturally. He takes it in the only way he can by breaking who Jamie is. Crazy no.

    1. You pose some excellent food for thought, Daria. I'd love Diana's thoughts on BJR's mental state. We can probably find them somewhere, actually. LOL!

  5. Personally couldn't've given two anythings for Frank until relatively recently when someone linked me to DG's defense of him in a post from a few years back (the unsung hero or some such of her books?) and she made me have a lot more appreciation for him. Would love seeing her post about BJR. But it doesn't matter what she says ... I'll very easily continue to hate him. #noredeemingfeatureswhatsoever #nomatterwhatHerselfthastosayabouthim
