Carol Blogs. Tracey Tweets. James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser means to take his time about it, aye?
So the Scotts are eating stuff that tastes like shit. Interesting.
I have a Scottish friend on facebook who says that haggis isn't as bad as it used to be...before everything was regulated. According to her, they now have several varities of haggis--even vegetarian haggis! Still don't think I'd want to try it. You're a braver woman than I am, Tracey!
so don't want to ever taste it
To quote my friend Hugh who lives outside Glasgow: "You really don't want to be eating that stuff."
Well, I will say that purely taste wise, it wasn't horribly bad. If you like lamb (which I do), you won't mind the taste. The problem lies in the consistency--I'm not a fan of the whole "chopped meat" family (pates, liverwurst, sausage, etc.), so that was tough. Really, though, the biggest hurdle is just knowing what's in it, and the whole idea of "eating organs is gross" thing to overcome. Given that I'm a fairly picky eater, I was glad that I actually took a chance and tried it. And I don't EVER need to eat it again.
BTW, it goes down much easier with a lot of red wine. Just sayin...
To Funny...now I no where you all are! First time checking out this site the link would never work for me before...need the second book!!
Ooooh Tracey C - be careful of spoilers! Read the red spoiler alerts before you read a post. I was thinking about you yesterday because I've been very sparse on the Twilight site. It'll pick up again closer to Eclipse's release. Also waiting on word on Breaking Dawn. Get Dragonfly in Amber and keep reading so you can join us here at My Outlander Purgatory! We're way sillier here - lots of video and foolishness. (And grown ups. LOL!)
