Calling all Jamie's!

Here's an amusing little ditty for ya. A Purgatory friend was at work today and had to call some guy named "Jamie". He had a really nice voice and she kindof lost herself in her thoughts for a minute whilst talking to him.

And you know you do it, too. Hell, I saw a sign today for "Christie" street and immediately thought "Tom!"

  1. LOL. Re: Christie--do any other Jersey girls think of ole Tom whenever they hear a news report about some such happening in Trenton? (FYI to those of you who dinna hail from NJ--our newly elected governor is also a Christie...)

  2. Wow that's so funny - when I read "Christie" after I typed it, I thought of Christie Whitman! Not even Chris Christie! So many Christies in New Jersey Gubernatorial politics!!

  3. This takes the cake--I work with a dude named Jamie. He is 6'4", Scottish, reddish brown hair.... and--ready for this?!-his last name is Murray!! There were days, after reading certain passages in the series, I would literally start blushing when I saw him. I know he thinks me an idiot.

Last year I told him that a character in these books I was reading had his same name and he paused, looked at me, and said, "Well, is he hot?"

I walked out of the room before I could say anything. For my dignity, of course.

  4. Miss K. MISS K!!! We NEED a photo of this man. Seriously. Think he'd be willing?

Is it legal to hide behind potted plants and take photos of a coworker and upload them to the internet? ;)

  5. If not, and it comes to prosecution, simply ask for a female judge and give her the novels to read prior to trial. No woman judge would EVER convict!

  6. At this moment, I can say I am proud to be Ms K's roommate...and there are fewer things better than being able to exchange semi-ridiculous emails about Outlander while pretending to be diligent, hardworking teachers who daily shape young minds!
