Carol Blogs. Tracey Tweets. James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser means to take his time about it, aye?
When I woke this morning with this on my mind I new I had must say something. Thank you very much for the invite to share in your chat. You ladies are very entertaining. I want to say once again that I'm sorry if I said anything that was construed as a spoiler ... I've gone over and over in my mind my comments and hope that is not the case. But, I fear it may have been taken as such and that was so NOT my intention. I would never want to tarnish anyone else's reading experience. I've three friends in three different states of reading the books and I work very hard at discussing the books where they are in them. As I've completed the books and I miss the characters immensely, it's always fun to find a place where other people are as "hosed" about them as I am and willing to endlessly discuss them, your site was a welcome find. I'll continue to follow along as you read and experience Echo through your eyes; your writing and commentary are a real treat. And when you've finished, then we'll dish! :) Happy reading.
Oh no worries Shel - you're fine! If you mean me, I have a terrible memory; I retain nothing! Which works in my favor with spoilers... because I'm verra good at hearing something with half an ear - shoving it out of my head - and forgetting all about it. I remember asking if something was a spoiler last night - but I dinna remember what it even was! We're thrilled you came to chat and I'm looking forward to next week. Jenn, Shannon and I will have read more by then so we'll discuss more Echo happenings. I look forward to finishing so no one will be walking on egg shells around me; I know it's verra annoying. So THANK YOU and we'll see you next week! :)
OMG Shel don't let us scare you! I hear you--I'm much farther along in the book than Carol is, and I have to be VERRA careful not to give anything away or say too much--it's hard because you really have no idea whether they've gotten to something or not. Carol, maybe one good idea is for you to list a few "safe" topics that we can talk about in chat. I do like to talk about the most recent book, but want to make sure I don't mention something that hasn't happened yet.And Shel, DEFINITELY come back next week!!! As you saw, we pretty much always just end up talking about Jamie's hotness anyway... ;-)
I missed the chat last night - I was on spring break last week, so I could stay up and visit. I'll try to get the kids in bed on time next week and join you. Carol, I can't WAIT until you're done - there's so much to talk about!

I have to say I'm crazy paranoid about spoilers too, and totally didna see anything last night that worried me! It's scary bc you try to just remember where everyone is- I try to put myself in the shoes of the person reading, and how i felt when I read it, bc I don't want to ruin anything. I think this site does a great job of announcing spoilers - that said, can't wait til you guys are done!
Because you make me laugh verra much, I have gifted you with an award. It's on my blog ye ken.
