SPOILER ALERT: Dinna read unless you have read chapter 67 in AN ECHO IN THE BONE.
When some dude comes sniffing around camp and spits in your Auntie's pottage, you DO SOMETHING. You don't just stand there laughing while he walks away.
I bet you wouldna have stood by calmly whilst he spat in your uncle's brandy.
Just my .02.
1) Fuirich agus chi thu ("wait and see" in Gaelic)
2) Three words: Just Keep Reading!
I'm enjoying your posts quite a bit. Hang on tight, the ride gets bumpier from here!
Sometimes I just don't know what to do with that Ian! but I *love* him.ReplyDelete
and I agree with Karen, HANG ON TIGHT!
(I think I am enjoying "watching" you read this book more than I enjoyed reading it myself. The whole thing really messed with me. Not that I didn't like it, it was just SO crazy. I might enjoy it better the 2nd time, if I can ever get through Fiery Cross :) )
Lassies I am doing NOTHING but reading this evening. And my hubby's away so it will be totally quiet and peaceful. I'm giddy with anticipation.ReplyDelete
I have just reached this part of the book and canna leave the book behind - sitting in my car at work today trying to squeeze in just one more chapter. I too am giddy with anticipation to keep reading tonight when I get home - it is just tooo good!!!ReplyDelete
LOL Jane. I LOVE that you're reading in your car at work! Tracey used to read in her car on her lunch hour...and I used to read in my car at school pick up. LOLDelete
