  1. Oh, I so have to get this book now. I was literally yelling at my screen, "Show Jamie, show Jamie"! And ye' did. Thank you. Twas' a wee bit blurry, but dang' Jamie looks good! Just like I pictured him. *sigh* You guys are right, September cannot come fast enough.

  2. Loved your OMG moment when you got to the infamous "Murtagh spoiler" :-)

And now that you've seen it, come on over to Compuserve and tell Diana what you think (or join in our speculations). The thread is here.

  3. Jeanie - get your butt out and get that book! LOL It's awe-some. I canna stop looking at it. The graphics are amazing. Way better than looking at excerpts on the computer.

Karen - I tried to go to Compuserve yesterday or Sat - and had password problems. It wouldn't take my password. So I tried to change it - and tried to change it to the password I remembered (thinking maybe it would let me set the same password) and it tells me I'm trying to use my old password. So obviously I WAS using the correct password in the first place. It was almost comical. At any rate - after then spending some time at AOL.com and changing the password (and checking mail to make sure it worked) I tried again, to no avail.

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong! :)

  4. Who knew Murtaugh was such a hotty??? From Claire's perspective, he left a lot to be desired. But from what I can see, he looks pretty good to me!

Loved your "A-ha!" moment. I never would have guessed that was coming, that is until I read the spoiler thread. Hope you can get into compuserve..there's even more to speculate about.

I did a quick scan of the book at Sam's club, but now I may sneak out and pick it up today. I just can't get past buying 3 copies of the same book??? Really?

  6. Okay. I'm like either really slow or just mildly distracted by my summer classes. But, HELL-O! I had no idea the Exile preview was in that book when I had it in my hand. I have downloaded all the books thus far on my nook so I just peeked at the back not wanting to spoil the fun, but had NO idea that was in the back! Well, I'll be making a trip to B&N to check it out this week. Och! what was I thinking? You girls are TOO fun! Thanks for enlightening me!

  7. Yes - doesn't Murtagh look hot!! hee hee...In the discussion on compuserve when I commented on how much better/younger he looked then I had imagined Diana told me that we have to remember that this is through Murtagh's eyes which is how he sees himself - not how Claire sees him (hello ferret!).

  8. Ooooh Thanks Karen. I know you've posted that alternate link before, too. Bad Carol! I'll try it!

Patti, you are like me. I had to break out of my Kindle world and buy TFX, ABOSAA and Echo - because I didn't have them. My husband was like "Why are you buying books you've read?" and I was like "For my collection!!!" as if I were collecting never-before heard Beatles songs or original copies of the Declaration of Independence. I was literally offended that he'd even ask. LOL! (ooOh you should see my collection; so pretty!)

Brandy - WHOA GOOD POINT!! Never thought of that!!! I wonder how much - if at all - Murtagh's impression of Jamie differs from Claire's!

  15. Oh Mali - you are too kind. :) Believe me - we love making these vids TOO much. The best was when I took a sip of coffee on one video and said "Sorry - I'm not trying to look like we're doing a morning show" and Tracey was like "Yes we are." LOL!!
